Digital, Life, Design (DLD)
The Digital Life Design (DLD) is a series of conferences that bring together creative minds from all over the world, featuring digital innovation, science, and culture. Its attendees include 800 entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, scientists and artists who create a hub for innovative ideas and experiences, as well as a starting point for partnerships, investments and business development. In line with DLD Chairman Hubert Burda, DLD builds a platform for Ashoka Fellows to "connect with the unexpected." In partnership with Ashoka, DLD is introducing Ashoka’s 25 fellows poised for global breakthrough on its website.
Essl Foundation
The Martin and Gerda Essl Privatstiftung is the foundation behind the Essl Social Prize, one of the leading international awards for social entrepreneurs. The 1 Million Euro prize offers sustainable support and assistance to individuals with pioneering social initiatives. The Essl Social Prize 2010 that goes to Ashoka founder Bill Drayton this year, enables Ashoka to accelerate a number of programs designed to take social change to a global level, most prominently the first Ashoka Globalizer program.
The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV)
The Federation of Austrian Industries (IV) is a voluntary body representing the interests of about 3,500 industry members in Austria and at the European level. The IV connects Ashoka to the Central and Eastern European business community.
Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF)
The Federal Ministry of Finance is one of the oldest ministries in Austria consisting of five Directorates and about 820 employees. Located in the Winter Palace of Prince Eugene, the Finance Ministry is seated in the country's centre of financial and economic policy. Its services have been adapted to the needs and welfare of citizens. The Austrian Ministry of Finances supports the Ashoka Globalizer 2010 by co-sponsoring the Hofburg Palace facilities.
Hofburg Congress Center
Located in the heart of Vienna, the historic Hofburg Congress Center is the Habsburg’s former imperial residence and Europe's first address - transforming the city into a meeting place. As the host and sustainability partner of this year's Globalizer Panels, the Hofburg has committed to offsetting all emissions generated as part of the Globalizer event. Thanks to this partnership, the Globalizer Panels will accelerate social change while maintaining an environmentally sustainable carbon-neutral footprint.
Globalizer Legal Team
The Globalizer Legal Team is a unique, collaborative group of global law firms and other legal partners supporting the Ashoka Globalizer Fellows. The team provides strategic advice and legal support to individual Fellows, develops shared legal resources for the Fellows, and collaborates to identify and address legal challenges to scaling social change.
